You may have thought that this is a portal to a cyber garden, but no! This is a cyber portal to a real life garden. Watch it grow.
This is a small backyard garden in a coastal temperate climate.

There are a lot of images in here. That means it will take a while to load. if an image doesn't show up, refresh!

I planted a more seeds today. I planted some sweet corn, some lettuce and lemongrass.
I transplanted out a few plants as well. I planted the pansies and cabbages into the garden.
Broad Beans 22/10/2023
On the 14th, they got blown around a bunch. i added another layer of string around to hold them up. not too many of them blew over, and the ones that did are still growing.
They also have little beans now!
Lettuce patches 22/10/2023
The lettuce in the first patch has been used in many meals, with a cut and come again style of picking.
The daikon raddishes did not work out, they started to flower before it made a big root. So I dug them out and replaced it with some cabbages.
The other lettuce patch is doing well. Still small, but growing fast. I also removed the weeds in the back and put a cabbage there.
Garlic patches 22/10/2023
I did some weeding, and pulled out a few ullucus seedlings. I had ulluco growing there last year. Search it up!
I must not have harvested it all. hah
Wasabi! 22/10/2023
This is its second year, growing big leaves in spring.
The brighter it is the more floppy the leaves get. This thing loves shade.
Garlic, onion and pea patch 22/10/2023
Nothing done to it since last update other than very light not enough weeding around the garlic and onions.
Spinach pot 22/10/2023
Decided to show you my spinach pot... On the other side of the garden.
Needs to be harvested.
Thats all for the 22/20/2023 update!
I might need to split this into multiple pages due to image download issues.
General update 15/10/2023
I planted a bunch of seeds today. I have a special melon project that I will start. I planted about 5 different melon varieties, which I will let them cross pollinate and eventually made a landrace that is good for my area. Lets hope it turns out well!
I also planted some runner beans, in the case some of the runner beans from last year do not regrow (perrenial type). I also up-potted a few plants, which I have not shown here yet. the pots is a passionfruit and a chilean guava.
There has been a big wind through my garden on 14/10/2023. Not much damage at all, thankfully. Just some bent broad beans, and hanging pot had to be moved due to a snapped branch.
Images will be another day because I am tired.
Garlic! 12/10/2023
I have two patches of garlic, but this is the main one. Note: I used sheep pellets as a side dressing for fertiliser. Weeds in the back near the fence, thats where I will put beans.
They are getting some yellow outer leaves but they are looking healthy otherwise.
Bean, Garlic Onions! 12/10/2023
I have two patches of garlic, This is the secondary one. they are in the middle of the image. There is onions planted to the right of them, with peas everywhere else, including the hanging pots! I planted some pumpkin seeds around the peas to the left, we will see if they sprout. This area gets a lot less sun suring the summer.
Lettuce! 12/10/2023
I have two patches with lettuce, onions, cabbage, and daikon raddish. A bit of a wild mix.
I need to weed the areas around the garden beds a little! I saw cabbage butterfliess going onto my chinese cabbages so ima have to deal with the catterpillars. Might need to go buy a BT spray or something.
